What is a joint petition when filing for bankruptcy?
Answered By Editor
This is pretty straight-forward. A joint
petition is when you file for bankruptcy with
another individual. The other individual must
be your spouse when you file for bankruptcy
and file the joint petition. Unmarried
people must file an individual petition.
